This brief video (below) shows how we store one ingredient of our ‘Cow Chow’.   It is certified nonGMO corn that we grow ourselves.  We pack this chopped corn (North America’s tallest native grass)  into a bunker, making it airtight so it stays fresh.  We will combine this with alfalfa, called haylage (that we also grow, and is certified nonGMO) to create the bulk of the ‘Cow Chow’.  Those hungry cows will eat about 100 lbs of feed each day!  It literally takes a mountain of food to keep the cows fed year around.
