School Tours
Plan a school trip to meet our cows, learn about life on the farm, and sample our famous chocolate milk.
A school tour at Country Dairy is like no other. Not only do we have cows, heifers, and calves for the children to see and learn about, but we also have a manufacturing plant on site where we bottle our milk. That means that Country Dairy can help reinforce the Michigan education standards through both agriculture and manufacturing all in one tour!
It is our goal to supply your class with a fun-filled learning environment while on your tour. Country Dairy provides a variety of ways to learn, from film to hands-on activities. And don’t forget that the children get a wagon ride pulled by our Belgian Draft Horses or nostalgic vintage tractor. Come visit us soon!
School Tour Prices
$6.00 / per person
(including teachers and parents)
Included in the price is a sample cone of our premium, soft-serve, vanilla ice cream!
Minimum of 20 persons to receive school group pricing of $6. If under 20 persons then it will be the regular tour price of $8 per person.

We do our best to work around your schedule. If you want to be sure to get your date, be sure to book early, we book on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Activites
Moo School
Your tour will begin at our Visitor Center, the Moo School. Here you will be able to learn about the history of Country Dairy, dairy farming, and the dairy industry through a video, interactive games, and displays.
Meet the Cows
Our tour wagon will take you to the barns where you can see the cows and calves. We will stop in our show barn to see and learn about milking cows with robots and see the best Holsteins in our registered herd.
Bottling Plant
With our present state restrictions, we will not be allowed to have people go through our bottling plant. However, we will do our best to help you learn about our bottling plant to see where our milk is bottled and labeled.
Market & Cafe
Conclude your tour with a sample our famous Premium Chocolate Milk and something we call “Moochies” (cheddar cheese curds). Afterward, enjoy a great meal and top it off with an ice cream cone before you do a little shopping in our market.
